The two lakes are located in the Avers side valley of Val Madrisch just a few hundred metres from the Italian border at 2520 metres above sea level.

On an organic farm at 1430 to 2400 metres above sea level, handmade herbal products such as tea, herbal salt, goat milk soaps and milk jam are produced. With wild herbs and home-grown garden herbs, the farm combines tradition and sustainability.

Village shop Sufers
Since September 1, 2011, Sufers has had its own shop. Under the label frisch-nah-günstig, the store sells regional products and is also supplied by Volg Konsumwaren AG.

As early as 1996, the first boulderers (boulder climbers) discovered the "Magic Wood" area in the municipality of Ferrera. In 2004, this trend was taken up by the municipality and the "Magic Wood" area was rezoned into a bouldering zone.
