Cinema Seniors: "Kramer vs. Kramer" in Ilanz

The advertising salesman Ted Kramer, married and father of a five-year-old son, works in a renowned New York advertising agency and is indisputably one of the best at his job. His boss has just given him the biggest project to date with the announcement that Ted is to become vice president of the agency. His work does not become less as a result, but he is absorbed in his profession and thinks that his wife is happy with him. When he comes home in the evening, his wife Joanna is standing in the apartment completely unexpectedly with her suitcase packed. She is in a deep crisis and feels overwhelmed with the role of wife and mother. Although she loves their child Billy dearly, she leaves Billy and Ted alone. As she leaves, she confesses to Ted that she doesn't love him anymore. Since she feels like a failure in her role as a mother, she thinks it would be best for Billy if she left him too
