The Missile

The single mother Nina accidentally demolishes the window of the "Lappland News". The boss of the harmony-loving cheese paper lets herself persuade her to make up for the damage with self-written articles – provided there are cheerful topics! Nina, however, believes that she is about to write a big story. Did no one but her hear the deafening bang? When Finnish defense forces arrive in the village, there are increasing indications that a Soviet missile has crashed in the ice. The lethargic Laplanders, however, do not want to know anything about nuclear fear. But Nina gets involved in an absurd investigative investigation in which the truth is always only a rocket's length away.
