WOLF

Not much is going on at Franz Weniger's gas station, but there is a lot going on. Four men and a wolf appear and slowly a story emerges that involves everyone. The play is peppered with quick character changes and clever dialogues. The topics are highly topical and the evening is above all funny. The wolf rhymes in the background and exposes human contradictions in an extremely smug way. Or as the Berner Zeitung wrote: "Kunz plays not just one role, but five, and in an outstanding, wonderfully funny way."

For over 15 years, the Bernese actor Matthias Kunz has been on the road on Swiss theatre and cabaret stages. His works are characterized by socio-political current affairs and references, mostly in the guise of satire. In particular, he has made a name for himself at theatres and festivals with the theatre cabaret duo Strohmann-Kauz. "Wolf" is his first full-length solo programme.
