Corn Vadret

Ski tour, which initially leads on a permitted route through the Sildschutzzone. In the forest area, the Val Champagne is narrow and often cold to start. But there is long powder snow. Above the tree line, the valley widens, but the summit remains hidden until it is climbed. With a magnificent view, all those who ascend to the summit are rewarded. The view gives insights into the Ortler, Bernina, Julier, Kesch and other areas.

All in a southeasterly direction through the Val Champagna up to an altitude of 2700 m. Here you stand under the rock face of Il Corn. This rock bar is bypassed in the direction of walking on the left. Here at the back you can easily reach the saddle in a valley with the altitude indication 3105 m. Now it goes quite steeply up the last slope. Here it is advisable to enter the slope as far up as possible on the rocks (avalanche danger). From the edge where the terrain leans back, the summit becomes visible and is reached in 5 minutes.
