Reaching the Coaz hut with your favourite equipment is as exciting as it is extremely demanding - stop & go is the order of the day on many sections of the route towards the hut. In the face of the glacier world of Piz Bernina, you circle on the high-altitude path to the protruding hut. The way back from the hut to Roseg is basically not much different, but at least the 29 tires can somehow roll even better over the heel stones.

The gross route length is automatically calculated by outdooractive at 94 kilometers, minus 13 km of ascent assistance such as cable car and train ride. Thus, the net route length corresponds to 81 km with 'mere' 1260 meters of ascent and an incredible 3330 meters of descent. Some other classic altitude profiles with e.B. 45 km of track length at 2000 meters of altitude difference are hardly more energy-saving in comparison.
