Maloja - Lägh da Cavloc - Fornogletscher

Very worthwhile hike (actually the destination was the Forno hut). From Maloja you walk in about 45 minutes to Lake Cavloc, past an alp (goats, cattle and pigs; very good goat cheese to buy). On a pleasant path you reach a small dam wall. From then on, the path becomes more and more arduous, high steps, until you reach a bridge built in 2006, on which you cross the roaring glacier river and continue towards the glacier. You walk on the glacier after the erected markings, not blindly but according to the conditions (crevices and streams). You only supposedly leave the glacier. You continue to climb over scree on the glacier. Be careful the large boulders slip and pose a not insignificant danger, especially in warm weather. From here it went back the same way. It should be about 50 minutes to the hut. Good shoes are required.
