Sommerurlaub 2013, Zürich-Venedig

A holiday bike tour across the Alps, along beautiful lakes and through Italian cities worth seeing.
The start of the journey, along Lake Zurich and Lake Walen, to Chur was quite flat.
This was followed by the ascent to Lenzerheide, often with quite nice inclines and initially a lot of traffic, the Albula Pass, which we "cracked" this year in the third attempt and the Bernina Pass, which was quite easy to climb.
From Tirano to Lake Como and from Lecco to Villa d'Adda, a quiet cycle path leads along the Adda River.
Interesting cities such as Bergamo, Verona, Vicenza and Padua in interaction with vineyards and orchards shaped the further course of our journey.
At the end of the tour we rolled along the Bacchiglione, quite relaxed towards the lagoon of Venice.
