Splügen

Summer in Splügen:

Summertime is hiking time. More than 100 kilometres of signed hiking trails lead through the valley, along quiet mountain lakes and across historical passes to neighbouring valleys. The viaSpluga culture and hiking trail leads from the village of Splügen up to the Splügen pass and across to the Italian town of Chiavenna. 

Winter in Splügen:

The sunny ski resort Splügen-Tambo at the foot of majestic Pizzo Tambo, close to the border to Italy, is the area's main winter attraction. Cross-county skiers glide along 40 kilometres of trails along where the Rhine is only a small stream. Winter hikers can choose from more than 20 kilometres of trails between Sufers and the Hinter Rhine.
