The S 5th/6th graders from Tschappina, Flerden and Urmein invite you to the ceremonial opening of their art and culture museum! In the temporary pop-up exhibition, the children stage self-designed contemporary art and local cultural assets from the upper Heinzenberg.

As part of the school project "Archaeological Museum for the Present" (AMuG for short) of the University of Teacher Education of the Grisons, the students collected and researched old remains from their local environment. They present these as cultural assets in the historical exhibition. In a second part of the museum, the art exhibition, the children show exhibits that they have brought with them from their everyday lives and transformed artistically. In addition to the historical research and the artistic processes, they are also able to take responsibility for the museum furnishings, the opening ceremony and the museum tours themselves due to the exchange with experts.

No registration required.

The "simple for return" applies here. If you travel by public transport, you can travel back free of charge with RhB and PostBus.
Visitors to the events marked "Simply for return Graubünden" buy a one-way ticket for the journey, stamp it with the organiser, and the ticket is valid for the free return journey. The offer is valid from all boarding points in Graubünden for journeys on the Rhaetian Railway and PostBus. Learn more

On request to mail@amug.ch, appointments can also be made for an individual tour of the museum after the opening ceremony.

The project is being implemented by the University of Education of the Grisons in cooperation with the 5th/6th grade Flerden. In addition to numerous institutions and individuals, the Beverin Nature Park also supports the project, as the project promotes the continuation and reinterpretation of traditions, cultural and social exchange as well as multi-perspective thinking – a basis for the development of new solutions and sustainable development.
