The hut is the starting point for popular alpine tours, such as to Piz Russein (Tödi), Piz Urlaun, Piz Frisal, Piz Posta Biala or Graubünden Tödi. But the Puntegliashütte is also ideally suited as a 1- or 2-day hike and long-distance hikes over the Val Gliems. The extensive glacier foreland behind the hut offers an impressive biodiversity of rocks and plants, which is very exciting for young and old to explore.
