Description
The exhibition in the Dragon hole museum focuses on finds from the Dragon's Hole (including Paleolithic cave bear bones) and documents from the excavation period 1917-1923. The talented draughtsman Toni Nigg (1908-2000) was present during the excavations and has lovingly turned the museum into a true jewel. He also integrated an overview of local geology.
In the small but fine local museum there is also a collection of minerals, Roman coins from the 3rd century AD and tools of the old cooperage. Since July 2006 the faithful model of the historical Walser settlement St. Martin on a scale of 1:10 100 years ago has enriched the attractive museum.
