The electrification of timber transport from Silgin to Lumbrein was one of the main drivers to build its own power plant in 1919. Until 1946, only the municipality of Lumbrein was connected to the electricity grid. It was not until 1946 that the municipality of Vrin was connected to the grid of the EW Lumbrein and supplied with electrical energy for the first time.

The reading bench is located at the upper end of the village in the direction of the suspension bridge over the Val da Tersnaus. On this bench you can see the Val Lumnezia from a different perspective. Over the winter, the book boxes are emptied.

The chapel of St. Niklaus in Runs is located on the old cantonal road west of Rabius. The simple Baroque building, like numerous other chapels in the Surselva, dates back to the 17th century. It stands on the old path that used to lead through the hamlet of Runs towards the Disentis pattern.
