Description

Banca Veglia is located in the middle of the Val Müstair Nature Park, in the most prominent position in the centre of the historic mountain village of Santa Maria. In 2022, the writer couple Micha Friemel and Tim Krohn, who live here, converted the former branch of the Bündner Kantonalbank into a charming tiny apartment with its own entrance, kitchenette and shower room. The furniture contains several design icons of the 20th century and is suitable as a holiday home as well as for secluded work. Banca Veglia has its own off-street patio, is well heated all year round and can be rented by the week or for a few days.

We rent Banca Veglia for a minimum of 3 days. It can accommodate 1-2 people. If you are in excess, we recommend our Pension Chasa Parli. This is also a carefully restored building from the 17th century (see www.chasa-parli.ch/). The footpath between the two villages is 200m.
