Description
The start on 1,520 metres at the mountain station Furt is reachable in less than five minutes with the cable car from Wangs. The sledging track leads over Alpine meadows and through snowy forests and is daily prepared. It repeatedly offers a great view into the broad Rhine Valley, to the flank of Gonzen, which arises in the front of Churfirsten, and to the Vorarlberg Alps.
At the middle station Maienberg there is the opportunity to take a break and restore your strength in the two restaurants. In good snow conditions the track leads down into the valley and is then with in total seven kilometres length one of the longest sledging tracks in Eastern Switzerland.
The lower part is sophisticated and only recommendable for advanced sledge riders. Those who want to skip this part can go by cable car from the middle station Maienberg.

Directions
The toboggan run is easily accessible via the Wangs gondola lift. We start the ride directly from the mountain station of the gondola lift. On the first section of the route, it starts at breakneck speed. After a brisk stretch parallel along the ski slope, the path branches off to the right, where it winds through the forest with some sharp curves. After about 5 minutes we drive out of the forest and there is a great view of the Rhine Valley and the surrounding mountains. Here the ski slope crosses the toboggan run. We drive carefully and slowly until we pass the crossroads. In the lower section of the route, the path becomes flatter. Sometimes we drive through snowy forests, sometimes we reach more open sections, which let you catch a glimpse of the great view. The toboggan run ends at the middle station of the Wangs gondola lift. This appears after about a 10-minute drive on the right side. Above the station we branch off into the path, which goes off to the right of the road.
