Apartment in the village, Safien Platz

The former small cattle barn, which is attached to a Walser house that is over 300 years old, was converted into a two-room apartment in 2018. The exterior walls were changed as little as possible and a combination of old construction, functional insulation and new furnishings was sought on the inside. The result is a homely apartment with its own entrance, suitable for two people. High-quality materials and lots of wood make the apartment on two floors a cozy retreat. The apartment is located 3 km above Safien Square at 1530 m above sea level. M., on a road open all year round but with little traffic. The parking lot at the entrance is part of it. Hiking, skiing or snowshoeing can start right outside the front door. 

The non-smoking apartment is not wheelchair accessible and pets are not allowed.

It is possible to buy farm products (dairy products, meat, eggs...). Shopping facilities for daily needs are available in the village shop and in the SPENSA in Safien Platz (5 min. driving time). There you will also find the post bus stop, the town hall restaurant, the municipal chancellery with tourist information, etc.
