Drachenloch Museum Vättis

The focus of the exhibition in the Dragon Hole Museum is on the finds from the Dragon Hole (including Paleolithic cave bear bones) and documents from the excavation period 1917 – 1923. The talented draughtsman Toni Nigg (1908 – 2000) was present at the excavations and lovingly designed the museum into a true gem. In doing so, he has also integrated an overview of the local geology. In the small local museum in the old school and town hall, there is also a collection of minerals, Roman coins from the 3rd century AD, the original wooden sculptures from the Walser chapel of St. Martin and tools of the old cooper's trade.
