Description
We are on the descent from the Garmil in the direction of Fürggli and stand in the middle of blueberry bushes. These usually grow on acidic soils, such as here on the Verrucano rock. When your gaze wanders down the gentle hilltop, you can see that there are suddenly no more blueberry bushes. This is due to the change in the soil. Further down, dolomite rock can be found. Interestingly, the rock further down is the younger one. But more about that on the Fürggli.
