Description
The first chapel stood west of the hamlet and was built in 1593. In 1695 the chapel was moved to its present location and northerned. On the gable roof sits an open ridge turret with a curved helmet.Two bells, whose year of manufacture and place are unknown, shout their song to heaven.In 1967 the chapel was renovated. The chapel is dedicated to the Epiphany. The festival is on January 6th. The Epiphany are patrons of pilgrims and travellers; the furrier; against sorcery, epilepsy, thunderstorms and hail. Their intercession is also invoked against sudden death.
