The chapel of S. Clau / St. Nicholas is located on the Senda historica "Via da Strada".
Description
The chapel is said to have been dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The image of the outer altar speaks for the probability of this tradition. A new building from 1708-1710 is said to go back to the present chapel.
Description: Small, northeast-facing, vaulted chapel with flat closed, niche-like choir, square window and bezel. In front of the front is a timbered porch with a roof rider crowned by an onion-shaped hood. The vaults are completely painted. In the choir the Last Judgment. Simple altar. The picture shows Our Lady between St. Andrew, Nicholas and Benedict, around 1710. On the altar stands a high Gothic wooden figure of St. Nicholas, in the middle of the 14th century. In the vestibule to the left of the entrance an outdoor altar with the remains of a Trinity painting on wood, 17th century.
Bell: With inscriptions.
