Kinoa - Das Kulturkino

"Kinoa" combines film enjoyment with an open-air atmosphere. The open-air cinema takes place on the proverbial green meadow, on the edge of the Fürstenwald ob Chur recreation area. Visitors can expect a summery atmosphere – with a view of Chur and the Rhine Valley. Here, nature and culture, film and landscape, individual vision and communal experience are intertwined. And yet – the place is easily accessible by all common means of transport – even for people with disabilities.

Kinoa deliberately avoids classic row seating. Camping chairs can be made up at the entrance, other seating can be brought along. Refreshing drinks are available at the bar and a bite to eat at the food truck – this makes it possible to experience with all your senses in a unique way. The choice of location and the choice of films have proven their worth. In the afternoons, children's and family films are on the programme, and on the balmy August evenings, films of all kinds attract visitors; Classics, blockbusters, cultural and outdoor films and Swiss productions.

Kinoa will once again delight audiences with exciting films in the summer of 2025.
