Description

History

First mentioned in 1340. Patrozinium St. Thomas. Letter of indulgence from 1357. 1411 Consecration of a supporting altar, which suggests a new building. The new consecration took place in 1449. The church was consecrated in 1491 with three altars. Today's sacristy goes back to the former choir. The church was completely rebuilt between 1687 and 1691, only the choir remained as a sacristy.

The present church consists of a three-bay nave with two side chapels and a closed choir on three sides. The chapels are located directly at the choir and climb through the main cornice up to the vault height of the nave. The exposure is below the main cornice through square windows. The portal is framed by Tuscan columns.
The tower dates back to the 14th century; it stands where old and new choirs join together. The octagonal pointed helmet was put on in 1706.
The murals in the side chapels depict St. Anthony of Padua. The paintings on the vault and façade date from 1865.
