Passo dell'Uomo

In the past, the crossing was also called Passo dei Porci or Passo di Piora.

The Passo dell'Uomo connects the canton of Graubünden with the canton of Ticino in the direction of Piotta or Airolo. A few decades ago, the military was active here. The horse stables and the almost thread-straight, bumpy road through Val Termine date from this time. The crossing is still very popular with bikers and hikers, as it is the shortest way from the Lukmanier Pass to Lake Cadagno and Lake Ritom.
