Tagstein Castle, which was rebuilt in its present form after a fire in 1899, probably dates back to the 12-13th century and goes back to the lords of Masein/Rialt.

Description

The cultural property has changed hands many times and has always been at the centre of Masein's political and economic development. The castle is now privately owned and not open to the public.
