This fountain is made of natural stone slabs. The formerly still existing additional washing trough was removed during the renovation of the village streets in 1975.

In the 14th century, Walser moved from the Rheinwald to Vals. They do the same as the Walsers and hike from Hinterrhein over the Valserberg. Once at the top, you can enjoy a great view. If you feel tired legs after arriving in Vals, it is best to loosen them in the 7132 Therme.
