Day 1: Individual arrival

Until 6.30 p.m. individual arrival in Bernina Suot to the Berninahaus inn. Welcome by the hiking guide and information about the upcoming hiking week.

Day 2: Morteratsch

Experience the Morteratsch glacier forefield in a different way, away from all the hustle and bustle: The snowshoe trail starts in Bernina Suot, leads down on the waterway to Morteratsch and goes up the valley towards the Bernina massif. Shortly before the glacier tongue, the impressive view of the Piz Bernina is rewarding. The way back follows the same route. Hiking time approx. 4 h / 260 m ↑ 410 m ↓

Day 3: Glacier Garden

Take the RhB to Alp Grüm with magnificent views down into the vast Puschlav, which is overlooked in the south by the imposing Bergamo Alps. Hike in search of glacier tracks to the Lagh da Palü, waterfall and the Cavaglia glacier garden at a good 1700 m above sea level. With a bit of luck, you will be able to observe wild chamois in their natural environment. Hiking time approx. 41/2 h / ↑ 510 m ↓

Day 4: Tranquility of nature

Snowshoe hike in the tranquility of nature in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, along the Rhaetian Railway, with a view of the breathtaking mountains. Start at the Hotel Berninahaus in the direction of Bernina Diavolezza, at the back of the valley station in the direction of Alp Bondo. After a small climb to an elevation back towards the valley floor and back to the starting point. Hiking time approx. 31/2 h / ↑ 420 m ↓

Day 5: Ospizio Bernina

Today's snowshoe tour has already inspired many a hiker! The varied ascents and descents lead through scenic areas such as the Ospizio Bernina – Piz Campasc plateau. View to the glaciers and down to mild Italy. Hiking time approx. 4 h  / 590 m ↑ 380 m ↓

Day 6: Val da Camp

The lake-rich mountain valley Val da Camp, created by a mighty landslide, is the most varied snowshoe hiking area in Poschiavo and a worthwhile hiking destination. Hiking time approx. 5 h / 730 m ↑ 670  m ↓

Day 7: Individual return journey

After breakfast, farewell to the Bernina snowshoe hiking world. Individual return journey.
