Engadin snowshoe tour

Day 1: Individual arrival

After arriving in Pontresina and being greeted at 11:45 a.m., the luggage will be stowed away and the afternoon can be spent actively. A first snowshoe hike leads through the snow-covered winter forest to the idyllic Lej da Staz, where the winter silence and the impressive landscape can be enjoyed. Hiking time approx. 21/2 h / ↑ 240 m ↓

Day 2: Motta da Blaunca & Bosch de la Palza

In the morning, the hike begins in Plaun da Lej, where the journey leads to the houses of Grevasalvas in deep hibernation. From there it continues to the Motta da Blaunca, near Maloja, over quiet, lonely alpine meadows. The route offers breathtaking views of the Lej da Segl (Lake Sils), which glitters majestically in the wintry landscape. In the afternoon, there is the opportunity to set off from Maloja, the starting point of the Engadin Skimarathon, for a circular tour through the picturesque forest of Bosch de la Palza. Alternatively, an afternoon of pampering in the hotel's associated wellness oasis is the order of the day and you can simply unwind. Hiking time in the morning approx. 21/2 h, in the afternoon approx. 2 h / in the morning ↑ 300 m ↓ / in the afternoon ↑  180 m  ↓

Day 3: Fextal

From Sils Maria, the horse-drawn carriage takes you to the idyllic Fex Valley. The varied landscape is explored with snowshoes, surrounded by the imposing snow mountains of the Fex Valley. Via the Motta da Güvè, the path leads back to Sils, where the frozen lake is crossed. In the evening, a tour of the village in Pontresina is on the agenda, followed by a delicious Engadine dinner. Hiking time approx. 4 h / 330 m ↑ 400 m ↓

Day 4: Alp Griatschouls

Today's journey begins with a train ride to S-Chanf. A snowshoe adventure starts from the village on the banks of the Inn, which leads through idyllic larch forests and over extensive alpine meadows to the remote Alp Griatschouls. Hiking time approx. 41/2 h / ↑ 550 m ↓

Day 5: Muottas Muragl / Individual return journey

On the Muottas Muragl, there is one last spectacular view over the Upper Engadine. In the afternoon, the individual journey home takes place or there is the possibility to extend your stay in the Engadine and spend a few additional days in this beautiful region. Hiking time approx. 21/2 h / ↑ 300 m ↓
