Pizol hiking ticket day pass from Wangs or Bad Ragaz

The winter area on the Pizol stretches from 2227 m above sea level down to 509 m above sea level and lets you really enjoy the white splendor. The season runs from mid-December to early April. With your ticket you can use the whole winter area of the Pizol. With the mountain railroads you reach the top from Bad Ragaz or from Wangs 5 signposted winter hiking trails and a snowshoe trail are waiting for you. While hiking you have wonderful views of the Tamina valley, the Weisstannental and the Calfeisen valley. **The winter hiking trails on the Pizol:** + Graue Hörner: walk 0.5 km, 35 min, 51 vertical meters (only downhill) on the ford towards Maienberg + Prodkopf: very easy circular walk 0.6 km, 30 min, 30 vertical meters with start in Pardiel (mountain station) + Vasanachopf: easy circular trail 1.8 km, 40 min, 122 m altitude difference with start in Laufböden + Panorama high trail: circular trail 3.7 km, 70 min, 30 m difference in altitude from Laufböden mountain station in the direction of the Pizol hut with a view of the Tectonic Arena + Pardiel Laufböden: 3.3 km, 1:45 min, 598 vertical meters (upwards) between Pardiel top station and Laufböden top station + Snowshoe tour Pardiel Laufböden: 2.8 km, 1:50 h 591 vertical meters upwards between Pardiel mountain station and Laufböden mountain station All hiking trails can be easily combined with each other.

One of the most beautiful winter hiking trails on the Pizol is undoubtedly the Panorama Höhenweg. The very short trail from Pardiel to Prodkopf and back is very pleasant and easy to walk for the whole family. An observation tower and a giant swing are popular attractions at the Proskopf power spot. On the Panorama Höhenweg you will pass the Wangsersee with a catered hut. In winter, the Wangsersee turns into a giant ice skating rink. Laufböden, by the way, lies like a huge terrace at 2222 m above sea level with a view of the St. Gallen Rhine Valley and the Churfirsten. At the starting and ending points of all designated hiking trails you will find restaurants where you can fortify yourself.
