Splügen

Day 1: Individual arrival

Meeting point at noon in the historic hotel in Splügen. You can reach Splügen by post bus from Chur. Visit to the baroque church and leisurely walk through the valley. On the sunny side, past the castle ruins, the Römerweg leads with a slight gradient through the Scabürwald to Sufers, the oldest village in the Rhine Forest. Hiking time approx. 1-2 h / ↑ 150 m ↓

Day 2: San Bernardino

Take the post bus through the tunnel in a southerly direction to San Bernardino. The pass connects the Rheinwald valleys on the northern side and Misox on the southern side. An idyllic, comfortable hike rewards you with views of the Pizzo Uccello, which offers an impressive mountain backdrop at over 2700 m above sea level, and the pass village. Hiking time approx. 21/2 h / ↑ 220 m ↓

Day 3: Heinzenberg

On a partly steep, but magnificent and panoramic high-altitude trail to the Glaspass, a typical Walser settlement in the once Romanesque area, the views of the majestic Piz Beverin and the Domleschg convey unforgettable winter experiences. Hiking time approx. 31/2 h / ↑ 500 m ↓

Day 4: Tambo Panorama Trail

With the gondola lift we float comfortably to the Tantzhöhi, 2140 m above sea level. A circular trail reveals magnificent views of the Rhine Forest and the mountains of Piz Tambo. The subsequent, pleasant, long, charming descent can be tackled on foot or by gondola. Individual journey home. Hiking time approx. 1-2 h / 100 m ↑ 100-700 m ↓
