34th World Film Festival

For over 30 years, the Thusis World Film Days have been held annually at the end of October, beginning of November. Around 40 films from all over the world are usually presented over 6 days. The decisive factor in organising its own film festival at the foot of the Alps in 1991 was the "Festival of International Solidarity", which took place as part of the 700th anniversary celebration of the Swiss Confederation.

Thanks to lively public interest and a high-quality program, this small but fine film festival has developed into an insider tip over the years. Thusis committed to promoting and showing filmmaking outside mainstream cinema. Conversations with invited filmmakers provide interesting insights into the making of the films. School screenings and the World Film Days On the road, the films bring pupils and communities in the region closer together.
