Advent sale in the monastery

On December 7, the doors of the stores in Müstair open for a magical Advent sale to get you in the mood for the most contemplative time of the year.
You can also feel the Christmas spirit in the St. Johann monastery in Müstair and smell the Christmas scent from the monastery kitchen in the days leading up to Christmas.

On Saturday, 7 December, visitors to the monastery can look forward to a Christmas program for the Advent sale from 2.00 pm:

14.00: Lecture by PD. Dr. Patrick Cassitti in the Son Placi room
"Frozen paths. Early winter crossings of the passes of Bormio and Fraele"
No registration required. Meeting point is in the monastery store la butia.

2.45 pm: Book launch
"Life in St. Johann Convent" and "Praying and working and enjoying life"
With illustrations by Sr. Pia and texts by Sr. Benedicta and Sr. Domenica

3.00 pm: Herbal tea from Sr. Lutgarde and cookies from the monastery kitchen with the Benedictine nuns
