Alpine trekking Calanca

Starting from Osogna and arriving in Rossa, the busy itinerary offers a foray into the long and apparently impenetrable Osogna Valley, before ending in the wildest and most remote part of the Calanca Valley. There are 4 stages between 6-8 hours a day with significant differences in altitude, which wind along official T3 grade trails but not only. Participants are therefore required to have excellent physical preparation, absence of vertigo and safe walking even on grassy or stony ground without a path.

Alpe Voisc → Cima di Biasca → Alp d'Örz

ca. 1'300m ascent / 8km

Day 3
Alp d'Örz → Pianca Geneura → Alpe Naucal → Rossa

ca. 1'000m ascent / 2'000m descent / 14km

Day 4
Red → Valbella → Sass de la Scritüra → Valbella
ca. 1'400m ascent / 15km

It is the responsibility of the participant to have the appropriate clothing for the mountain in all weather conditions, sturdy boots with a good profile that support the ankles, good physical fitness, sleeping bag for the night, food for lunch, accident insurance and personal liability.
