Yuliia Makiievska, born in 1984 in Odessa, Ukraine, trained as a graphic designer in Odesa and then continued her education in illustration, art education and art therapy at the Kharkiv State Academy of Arts. Since 2000, she has been working with great commitment and passion as an organizer and curator of art projects with children. "For me, painting is an attempt to discover the true meaning of existence. It is an opportunity to discover the mechanism of the universe that is present in every particle of the surrounding nature."

She continues her lessons with the children in Kharkiv online via zoom. Now she is showing some of her paintings, which she also sells at KULTURPUNKT.
