For the last 7 years, Marc Lardon, bass clarinet, and Daniel Sailer, double bass, have exclusively interpreted music by J.S. Bach, but now it is time to take a step into the present. They want to play contemporary music with their duo, for which the instrumentation is ideally suited. However, there is understandably hardly any repertoire for bass clarinet and double bass. Therefore, they have asked the Graubünden composer David Sontòn if he would write a piece for them. Sontòn's composition "La harpa da taghel" for bass clarinet, double bass, and tape refers to the Graubünden writer Theo Candinas. The piece will last approximately 30 minutes and will form one half of the program, while the other half will consist of music by J.S. Bach.
