"The music of Bill Frisell. For the Chur jazz guitarist Andi Schnoz, Bill Frisell is a sound painter who can imbue his compositions with incredible depth. While exploring his anthology, he noticed how much Frisell's pieces are shaped by curiosity for the new and an enormous wealth of musical experience. The clear structures and melodies open up a large space for free interpretation and invite playful exploration. In collaboration with Martin Wyss, a native of Arosa living in Basel, on double bass, an inspiring concert evening is created, enlivened by Bill Frisell's American spirit and infused with a touch of fresh Grisons mountain air.
