The pianist Bernhard Schüler studied at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, won numerous international competitions and was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award, among others. He has been playing the piano since the age of 7, later also clarinet and saxophone. His compositions are inspired by harmony, warmth and confidence, with his music he creates shimmering sound paintings and also refers to them as "song jazz".
