Blues Party at Landhaus Jenaz

Purple Lights – that's Swiss craftsmanship from American raw material: We are a blues'n'roll band that finely mixes blues, rock'n'roll, R'n'B and rock. There are well-dosed, lamenting blues harps, guitars driven to saturation, but also hard rock vocals, unexpected influences such as beat polyphony or classic rock solos.
From this we generate a homogeneous, plausible sound... as the German magazine "Bluesnews 104, 12.20" wrote about us. Purple Lights cover smokey, old and very old blues songs by Jimmy Rogers, Robert Johnson, John Mayall, Grandfunk Railroad, Popa Chubby, Delbert McClinton, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dr. Feelgood, Albert and B.B. King, and complement the whole thing with their own, catchy numbers. We recorded 6 of them in Detroit in 2017 and released them as a CD "The Detroit Experience".
In August 2020, our second CD "Hard Workin' Man" was released with 9 of our own songs. There are, for example, bluesy love songs and dark slow blues, Texas boogie and stomping blues rock. The songs prove the solidity and authenticity of Purple Lights.
