Cinema: "E.10247 - Eileen Gray and the House by the Sea" in Ilanz

In 1929, the Irish designer Eileen Gray built a refuge on the Côte d'Azur. Her first house is a discreet, avant-garde masterpiece. She calls it E.1027, a cryptic combination of her initials and those of Jean Badovici, with whom she built it. When Le Corbusier discovers the house, he is fascinated and obsessed. Later, without Eileen Gray knowing about it, he covers the walls with paintings and publishes photos of them. She describes the paintings as vandalism and demands that they be removed. He ignores her wish and instead builds his famous Le Cabanon directly behind E.1027.
