At the origin of BERG were traditional music as well as three jazz musicians with mountain origins and a desire to experiment. Berg's first album - at that time still with Norwegian drummer Øyvind Hegg-Lunde - was released in January 2020.

In the years that followed, the repertoire became as broad, diverse and imaginary as a mountain panorama and now consists mainly of originals by Fabian M. Mueller. 2023 was all about the development of new songs and the recording of a new album.
For some pieces, BERG teamed up with Corin: Corin Curschellas - the well-known, well-traveled and equally versatile singer, who not only shaped the Rhaeto-Romanic song like no other, but also toured with the Vienna Art Orchestra.

The combination was perfect, the sound was quickly found.
