Air & Skin are a band. But not only. They are an international music and poetry project initiated by the author and director Julian M. Grünthal , who lives in Graubünden. The lead singers are the Swiss Rahel Nahely and Anat Porat from Israel. The Chur drummer and sound artist Rolf Caflisch, the Tel Aviv guitarist Daniel Wisman, the Hungarian-Austrian violinist Monica Tarcsayand the Graubünden double bass player Rees Coray complete the ensemble.

Their English-language performances are a combination of live music and poetry, tender and dark, full of longing and hope.

Air&Skin look into the light and dark abysses and volcanoes of human longings and impulses. They explore the most primordial human impulses of creation and destruction, possession and love, freedom and coercion.

As an international ensemble, they are committed to discourse and peace. For looking, even where the solutions do not want to show themselves.

More about the project, videos, pictures and music to listen to can be found at www.airandskin.org here.
