Concert «around the world»

The music of this virtuoso trio combines classical music, jazz, Brazilian sounds, Arabic musical influences and folk music to create a unique performance that plays the musical "now" in a new way. The Suite Around the World, a work commissioned by the Berliner Philharmoniker and written by composer Daniel Schnyder, is the centrepiece of the evening. The music traces a journey around the world that begins in Berlin, visits Switzerland in the middle, and finally finds its way back to Berlin with a quote from Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
