About Maurice Steger
Maurice Steger is Professor of Early Music, Flauto dolce (recorder) and conducting. He is intensively committed to young musicians and offers support in workshops, university courses, at the Swiss Youth Music Competition, in master classes and through concert coaching. His help is comprehensive and ranges from technical suggestions to the passing on of his in-depth musical and music-historical knowledge to the integration and testing of musical ideas. In addition, he promotes the social fabric of the groups he supervises and the joy of making music together.

Maurice Steger grew up in Landquart. Already during his music studies, he became a cantonal school teacher in Sargans and worked in our region for over 15 years.
