The first Graubünden detective novel was written by a Dutchman. In the roaring twenties, the gentleman gangster Ricco Roland found refuge in Arosa, and in the 1940s, diamonds on Parsenn lured an illustrious group of crime detectives to Davos. And it continues just as exciting. The first crime novel after the war is published in Romansh and uses hypnosis. In the 1950s, there was persistent fog near Dürrenmatt, and in 1975 Katharina Hess sent a detective into the mountains under a false identity to solve a case of tourist speculation.
