Dynafit Transalpine Run: The legendary stage race across the Alps. The Dynafit Transalpine Run is considered one of the most spectacular trail running races in the world.
The route leads in 7 daily stages - alone or in pairs in a team - over the most beautiful trails in the Alps. The start is in Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the foot of the Zugspitze; then it goes via Nassereith, Imst, See, Ischgl, Samnaun (11 and 12 September) and Nauders to the finale directly on Lake Reschen in South Tyrol. With 271 kilometres and around 17,000 metres of altitude, the route is considered one of the most demanding in the history of the legendary Alpine crossing. A maximum of 900 starting places are available.
