Learn the basics of ice climbing and make your first experiences in "picking" in a safe environment. The basic techniques of climbing technique are covered, as well as other topics that belong to ice climbing, such as conditions, protection, mental component, belay technique. The taster course will take place in Arosa, conditions permitting. With a short drive by car, various other locations in Schanfigg can also be reached and this will be decided at short notice, based on the number of people/conditions, rental equipment such as steep ice crampons and steep ice anchor equipment will be provided. If you have your own equipment, be sure to bring it with you. There is also the possibility to rent required equipment in advance.
