fascia nature excursion: Birds of prey in the mountains in Thalkirch

Birds of prey and falcons, the fascinating fliers were not always popular and some of them still struggle with their bad reputation today. In the structure of biodiversity, however, they also have their important role and their justification. With a little luck and patience, how many different species can we meet in the Safien Valley? Come with us and we'll find out together!

09:15 a.m., Thalkirch, Postbus stop alte Post
If you arrive by car, park it in Safien Platz and take public transport to Thalkirch, alte Post (no parking at the end point)

End at 3.30 p.m. at the Mura post bus stop (there are no parking spaces here)

Requirements
Condition for 8 km mountain hike, ascent 340 m, descent 460 m, we take our time for observations, knowledge transfer and exchange, the pure walking time for the almost 8 km is 2.5 h

Equipment
Footwear with treaded soles (hiking or mountaineering boots), hiking clothing with sun or weather protection, individual hiking poles, individual binoculars and/or photo equipment (hiking guide has a telescope with him)

Catering
Picnic and drink from the backpack. Towards the end of the tour, we pass a farm pub and a self-service shop.
