In March 2025, the Engadin will host the international freestyle sport: From 17 to 30 March 2025, the World Championships for freestyler skiers and snowboarders will take place on the Corvatsch and Corviglia rivers as well as in St. Moritz. The world's best freestyle athletes compete for the world championship titles in the disciplines of slopestyle, halfpipe, big air, cross, parallel giant slalom, parallel slalom, aerials and moguls.

Aerials
This discipline is also known as part of the former ski acrobatics. The athletes catapult themselves up to 15m high from specially prepared jumps and perform complex turns and somersaults. Each jump is judged on difficulty, execution and landing, with precision and technique being crucial.

Big Air Freeski & Snowboard
Big Air is the ultimate challenge for adrenaline junkies. The athletes plunge over a huge ski jump to show impressive tricks and turns at lofty heights. Not only the difficulty of the maneuvers counts, but also the precision and style. The landing plays a decisive role. At the World Championships, the former Olympic ski jump in St. Moritz offers an impressive backdrop for this action-packed discipline. Concerts and food stalls round off the offer.

Halfpipe Freeski & Snowboard
In the U-shaped tube of the halfpipe, the athletes show fascinating jumps, turns and so-called grabs. Each run is judged according to height, difficulty and execution of the tricks as well as the overall presentation. The halfpipe competitions are one of the most iconic disciplines in the sport of freestyle.

Moguls
On a steep mogul slope, the athletes show a demanding combination of speed, technique and acrobatics. On a steep slope peppered with humps, they perform spectacular jumps and tricks, showing their skiing technique and body control. Speed, precision as well as height, difficulty and style of the jumps and tricks are evaluated.

Ski and Snowboard Cross
In a thrilling head-to-head race, 4 athletes compete against each other on a slope peppered with sharp turns, waves and jumps. They show their technical skills and their reaction skills. Speed, tactics and courage are crucial as athletes fight for positions and perform spectacular overtaking maneuvers.

Slopestyle Freeski & Snowbaord
Slopestyle offers a dynamic and varied show. The athletes show tricks, turns and so-called grabs in the air and on obstacles in a course with rails, boxes and big jumps. Each run is judged according to difficulty, execution and style.

Snowboard Alpine
Snowboard Alpine combines precision, speed and technical finesse. The head-to-head races woman against woman and man against man in the parallel giant slalom and parallel slalom ensure intense competitions. Each run requires perfect technique, quick reactions and strategic line choice to achieve the best possible time.
