Festival Hike: Milk and Honey

In the books of the Old Testament, the "Promised Land" is metaphorically described as a place where "milk and honey" flow. A particularly fertile landscape rich in natural resources. No milk fountains or honey streams have been sighted on the Jschalp and in Davos Frauenkirch so far - nevertheless, this landscape has something utopian about it and is a small paradise for many people. But this paradise is also subject to constant change and changes over the years.

During the festival hike, the music of Franz Schubert shows the way and a divertimento by Joseph Haydn resounds in the open field. When singing together, the lungs fill with fresh mountain air and the murmur of the streams lingers a little while during Ravel's string quartet.
