The FOYER CONCERTS - a musical weekend start at the Kulturplatz Davos

Instead of evenings and in the closed hall, the Kulturplatz organizes concerts in the foyer at regular intervals. On Saturday afternoon, when the promenade is filled, sounds can be heard in the foyer with open doors. This is intended to entice curious strollers to spend some time at an aperitif in the Kulturplatz Davos. Admission is free and the Kulturplatz bar is open. The offer is aimed at music lovers, families, weekend shoppers, Kulturplatz aficionados, locals and guests.

The focus in the selection of bands is on artists from the Davos-Klosters area. This is another way to offer local cultural workers a podium.

The idea of singing, yodelling and cheering homeland songs has remained with the Parsenn yodelling choir since its founding in 1956. The yodelers with the traditional costumes and the men in the black traditional hats and the velvety black "caps" with the blue and yellow borders will also be seen in the future. Jann Gadmer has been our new president since 2023 and, as in the founding days, puts together an interesting program year after year.

The motivation is to pass on traditions, a sense of home and enthusiasm for yodelling.
