Guided tour of St. Martin's Church in Ilanz

In front of the upper gate of the town of Ilanz, slightly elevated on a plateau, lies the church of St. Martin, in the vicinity of which early medieval traces have been found. The terrain terrace is part of the delta that the Glenner has poured into Lake Ilanz. In the building history of the former Ilanz parish church, which spans several centuries, the Waltensburg master also has his place with his workshop.

Arrival by post bus from Ilanz in the direction of Vrin or Obersaxen to Ilanz St. Martin or from Ilanz train station in about 30 minutes on foot. Parking in front of the church.
